The Georgetown Chorale is a volunteer organization. We are approximately 85 singers strong. We have singers of all ages and from a wide variety of backgrounds. Some of our singers are still attending school. Others have been singing for decades. The group has tremendous unity of purpose and works hard under the leadership of our Director, Richard Giarusso, and our Assistant Director, Andrew Welch, to produce wonderful concerts in support of our community development mission.
In the 2018-2019 season our section leaders are as follows: Soprano, Suzann Thomas; Alto, Rosemary DeRosa; Tenor, David Flaxman; Bass, George Chavis.
Here we are backstage at First Church as Richard takes us through some warm-up exercises.
Here is a peek into the Soprano section as we sang our Spring Benefit concert in April 2016.
The group has taken the stage at First Church for some last minute fine tuning.
Here's look at many of the men (and some women) of the Chorale.
We see representatives of Soprano, Alto and Tenor in concert here.
